PHYSICAL SERVICE

The difficulties of accessing the equipment needed to process and clean seeds, as well as safe long-term storage, can be barriers to seed for many farmers and small-scale growers. Freed Seed Federation offers access to our wide variety of processing equipment, including various threshing machines and a Winnow Wizard through regular community events and by request.

REGIONAL COALITION

Freed Seed Federation, in partnership with our friends at the Ujaama Cooperative, Experimental Farm Network, and the Pocasset Pokanoket Land Trust, is engaged in the coordination of regional seed hubs throughout the Northeast. This collaborative effort seeks to address the needs of current seed growers, and aspiring seed farmers and seed keepers, through regional infrastructure and education.
